Since when did TMZ.com become a source for reputable journalism? It seems like every day now I read a story in a magazine or watch a news show where they actually quote this god-awful excuse for a dirty rag. As far as I can remember, TMZ has always been a tabloid-esque entertainment website, and makes US Weekly look like The New Yorker. I'm assuming that the "school" of "thought" that defines this as a respected media news outlet is the same one that defines Hillary Duff as talented.
Here's a western analogy: If good journalism is like the Pony Express, then TMZ is a piece of paper on a rock thrown through your window. It comes right to you, but at what price?
